Recently, there is news about attackers who have compromised data on COVID-19 vaccinations on the European Medicines Agency (EMA) which is connected to the internet.
For those that never heard about EMA, it’s an agency of the European Union which normally manages the evaluation and supervision of medicinal products. The agency has disclosed a report that involved threat actors who have successfully penetrated their server and obtained access to sensitive information on Pfizer’s vaccine.
A Pfizer spokesperson has confirmed to Threatpost that
Specifically accessed were some documents relating to the regulatory submission for the companies’ COVID-19 vaccine candidate, BNT162b2, which was stored on the EMA server
