'IRAN CyberSecurity Group" have compromise US government website

Recently, a group of hackers claimed from Iran have compromised a US Government Website due to the latest event of killing of top military commander Qassem Suleimani.

The website that comprises is the Federal Depository Library Program has been replaced with the image of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, and the Iranian flag included the word “Iranian Hackers!” and “This is only small part of Iran’s cyber ability !”

Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency of US Government spokesman have been stated that the website has been taken offline just after the image was posted on the website.

The spokesman also continued to state that

We are aware the website of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) was defaced with pro-Iranian, anti-US messaging.At this time, there is no confirmation that this was the action of Iranian state-sponsored actors.

Previously, Security experts have warned about the cyberattacks might be a part of Iran’s Retaliation on the US airstrike where the Iran’s state-backed hackers can be among the most world’s aggressive. As a result, a group of top US Cybersecurity officials has warned all the businesses and government agencies to be always on their toe all the time.
